HIS STORY.

the before Born to a Japanese father and a British mother in Okinawa, the second of two children. When he was six, the family moved to Tokyo, not long after which his mother lost her life in a robbery. This sent his father into a downward spiral, leading, eventually, to the family moving north into the more rural Saitama prefecture and his father joining a secretive, paramilitary group that valued community, rooting out those who would harm others, and survival skills. Because of this, Itsuki and his older sister were raised for most of their lives as, essentially, soldiers, doing drills, learning how to use illegally obtained weapons, and keeping the reality of their life and the group a secret. At 18 he married a girl in their community, and soon after they had a daughter. Life on the compound was hard work and rural work made much of the money they needed difficult to come by, so Itsuki, his wife, and their daughter eventually moved to Tokyo to increase their earnings for the group. The implants were, obviously, unacceptable, and remained at the periphery of their lives.
the fall Itsuki had come to the United States to train with another paramilitary group there when the Fall happened. His wife and child were killed in the attack on Tokyo, and like all people, he was forcibly taken and chipped. From the beginning, though, he struggled. He suffered from debilitating headaches and often found himself disoriented within a few months of implantation, which put him in the newly budding Dislinked's sights. Given his skills, his chip was deactivated and he was recruited into the organization.
dislinked One of Itsuki's first assignments was undercover with Taryn Payne, acting as her second husband (and step-father to Eleanor) for six years. He helped bring people in to have their chips deactivated, planned training for recruits, and, as is common in small organizations, did whatever was necessary to further the cause. When the Mnemosyne was up and running he made his life there for a while before he began moving between it and the ground, eventually focusing with time on the ground.
mnemosyne And up until about a year ago, Itsuki had been operating mostly on Earth, coordinating and organizing ground forces there, though he visited the Mnemosyne often. After the death of his mysterious romantic partner, though, he moved to the Mnemosyne full time, and has been there ever since.
